The company had recently been bought out of an insolvent parent. With a turnover of around €150m, there was no group finance function and the business needed one in a hurry. There was a complete lack of financial structure or control and it needed a central finance function and the spread of a finance culture across the group and comprehensive reporting including consolidation.

Spanish national qualified FD who speaks French and good English OR French national qualified FD who
speaks fluent Spanish and good English.

• Global FD/CFO experience, multi based finance function, consolidation accounts, shared services senior director level not below.
• Manufacturing/ distribution experience would be ideal
• Spanish accounting qualification (equivalent of an ACCA)

Interim Finance Director – Northern Italy

A subsidiary manufacturing plant making the components for coating white goods required an Interim Finance Director to take over the day to day accounts functions and overseeing the disposal process.(6-month assignment)

Executive Profile

Experienced Turnaround Finance Director with fluent written and spoken Italian, with a working knowledge of Italian business law in the area of disposals, cash and working capital management.

A leader capable of working under pressure and used to independent decision making. A sound understanding of turnaround management, capable of working at long range from the main management team,
reporting and liaising with group and advisors. Good working knowledge of cost management, product costing, strategic planning and disposals encompassing due diligence.

As part of the continued expansion program, the company wished to recruit a Country Manager UK, Ireland & Nordics to develop business and manage accounts in the region, establish a development strategy and action plan so as to achieve the region’s revenue and market penetration targets.

Interim Finance Director – Commercial Search – France

Leading provider of Web search, including an extensive affiliate distribution network and an extensive intellectual property portfolio. An Interim Finance Director was sought to take operational responsibility for all ongoing Finance matters, covering France, Italy and Spain whilst the incumbent was on maternity leave.

Management accounts reporting and producing information to identify trends, key issues and any anomalies that can affect and improve the business, (working with the local MD to implement his or her recommendations) Ensuring that all reporting and budgets are timely and accurate, as well as working with the group towards the process of modifying and aligning financial reporting methods.
